Cindy is a passionate advocate of physical and mental fitness, making Pilates and meditation a regular part of her life. She and her husband, David, love reading, cooking and traveling from their home in Minneapolis – along with their dogs Luna, Bertie and Tash and cats Bronte (21 years young) and Max.

Where'd you grow up? 
“Montreal, Quebec. Canada. It’s the largest city in Quebec, primarily French speaking, and very chic. When I left Quebec, I was fluently bilingual, even though my family spoke English. I was definitely a city girl.”

 

Super power? What would it be?
“The power to heal or be an amazing artist.”

 

Favorite food?
Mangoes, although I have a giant weakness for French fries. Do Martini’s count?”

 

Who or what inspires you?
Nature and courage. People who take risks to live the life they want and make a positive difference in the world.”

 

Most favorite word?
“Possibility”

 

Least favorite word?
“Impossible”

 

What are you most passionate about?
“Conservation and protecting wild spaces and the animals.”

 

What qualities do you admire in others? and in yourself?
Most of all kindness. Then curiosity, fairness and open-mindedness. I love my own love of learning — and humor.”

Be curious and try stuff.”

 

Describe your happy place?
“On a beach by the ocean in the sunshine…in Australia…the ocean soothes my soul.”
